Braydon Cheek...

is a jewelry artisan and designer located in Cleveland, OH. He currently hosts workshops through the Parma Lapidary Club and the Cleveland Institute of Art’s Continuing Education program. He shares a studio space, Stryker Studios, in Cleveland Heights, OH with fellow CIA alumni. After completing his senior thesis, he earned the Second Place Agnes Gund Travel Scholarship. He earned his BFA in Jewelry & Metal from the Cleveland Institute of Art, where he spent his summers working as a Manufacturing Intern at Quality Gold and as a Product Design and Development Intern at Stuller Inc. in Lafayette, Louisiana.

His work is largely inspired by machined objects, modern architecture, geometric forms, and sci-fi futurism. These influences guide his work in creating jewelry that evokes the precision and aesthetic of machines, yet is crafted entirely by hand. He combines traditional techniques in jewelry with contemporary digital processes, such as 3D modeling with casting. He strives to create bold, contemporary pieces for both the body and the home.
